GRTA Xpress Fares Apply

Cumming to North Springs and to Downtown Atlanta

Route 400 provides commuter coach service from Cumming in Forsyth County to the North Springs MARTA rail station near Perimeter Center and direct service to Downtown Atlanta from Cumming, Monday through Friday. Four departures are available to North Springs and two to Downtown Atlanta in the morning and the same for return in the afternoon. A reverse commute from North Springs to the Cumming Park & Ride Station in the morning and from Cumming to North Springs in the afternoon is also available.

The Park & Ride Station is located at 163 Old Atlanta Road, Cumming, 30040. just off GA 400 at GA 20 (exit 14, Buford Highway). The lot is located on the southbound side of GA 400, just south of Lakeland Plaza. All Xpress coaches are wheelchair accessible.

The timetable below shows the timed stops on the Xpress route. Not all stops have times. To estimate when the coach will arrive at a non-timed stop, check the last timed stop just before the stop you want and the first timed stop after the stop that you want. Your stop time will fall approximately between those two times.

Xpress does not operate on New Year’s Day; the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Only GRTA Xpress fare passes are valid for this route. Fare passes are not refundable.

Half-Price and Reverse Commute Fares

• One-way -- $1.50 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)
• Roundtrip -- $2.50 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)
• 31-Day -- $40 -- (31 days unlimited use)

Half-price fares are available on reverse commutes. In addition, all persons 65 years of age and older, Medicare cardholders and persons with disabilities are eligible for half-price fares on those routes operating during off-peak hours (between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m.). Riders must show the coach operator their Medicare card to qualify. This route currently does not operate during off-peak hours.

Xpress coaches stop only at locations designated by an Xpress coach sign.

• Always check the route sign above the front window of the coach to ensure boarding the correct coach.

• Put your fare pass in the trim unit as you board or use your Breeze Card to tap the Breeze Reader. Put only exact cash in the farebox.

• If you need the wheelchair lift, let the driver know and follow his or her instructions.
