Currently, Xpress intends to run all regularly scheduled service tomorrow, Friday, January 22, 2016. However, we are monitoring potential winter weather approaching our service area. Please continue to check our service alerts for any updates before beginning your commute. 

If weather impacts future service, we will alert you:

  • Check the Service Alerts page for information concerning route closures or other major service changes.

Effective Monday, September 14
Effective Monday, September 14, the Xpress bus stop located on West Peachtree St. at Peachtree Place will temporarily move one block south to West Peachtree St. at 8th St. This change will remain in effect until further notice.

Route 408 at Doraville MARTA Station
STOP LOCATION MOVED to intersection of New Peachtree Rd. and Central Ave.
We recently replaced coaches on Route 408 with upgraded models. The new coaches have higher quality seating and smoother suspensions, and are specifically designed to improve the ride quality of the long-distance highway commutes Xpress provides. Although we are thrilled to provide our riders with new, better vehicles, the increased height of the new coaches have presented safety challenges while maneuvering through the Doraville MARTA Station to access their usual stop location in the station's bus bays. Due to these safety concerns, Route 408 will not drop-off or pick-up inside the Doraville MARTA Station bus bays until further notice. Buses will instead stop at the intersection of New Peachtree Rd. and Central Ave., located just outside of the bus bay entrance. This alternate stop location will continue to provide safe, easy access to the Doraville MARTA station, and we hope the impact to your commute is minimal as we work with MARTA to resolve the situation. In the event of inclement weather When the weather forecast indicates snow and/or
freezing rain for the commute, riders should take the following precautions:

•Monitor WSB TV and WSB Radio 750 weather forecasts for ice or snow on interstate highways.
•Visit this Service Alerts section of for updates on any changes to Xpress service. Refresh your browser for updates. Or, if you do not have internet access:
•Contact the Regional Customer Service Center at 404-463-GRTA (-4782) for changes to service, or call 511 for highway and transit information.
Please keep in mind that Xpress primarily operates on interstate highways so there may be occasions when MARTA is operating but the interstate is closed, thus preventing regular Xpress service.
