In The Event Of Inclement Weather

When the weather forecast indicates snow and/or freezing rain for the commute,  riders should take the following precautions:

  • Monitor WSB TV and WSB Radio 750 weather forecasts for ice or snow on interstate highways.
  • Visit the Service Alerts section of www.XpressGa.com for updates on any changes to Xpress service. Refresh your browser for updates. Or, if you do not have internet access:
  • Contact the Regional Customer Service Center at 404-463-GRTA (-4782) for changes to service, or call 511 for highway and transit information.
  • Sign up for text alerts at www.twitter.com/xpressga  We strongly encourage riders to take advantage of this instant messaging service if they can. The alerts can be sent more quickly than the XpressList e-mail newsletter.

Please keep in mind that Xpress primarily operates on interstate highways so there may an occasion when MARTA is operating but the interstate is closed which would prohibit regular Xpress service.
