Riverdale to Downtown Atlanta

Route 442 provides commuter service from Riverdale in Clayton County to downtown Atlanta via Interstate 75. Six coaches are available in the morning and six in the afternoon Monday-Friday. Three reverse commute coaches, from Atlanta to Riverdale Road, are also available. The lot is located at 6842 Lamar Hutcheson Prkwy., Riverdale, GA 30274.

The timetable below shows the timed stops on the Xpress route. Not all stops have times. To estimate when the coach will arrive at a non-timed stop, check the last timed stop just before the stop you want and the first timed stop after the stop that you want. Your stop time will fall approximately between those two times.

PLEASE NOTE: Boarding for reverse commute is at Civic Center MARTA Station only. Reverse commute coaches from downtown Atlanta in the morning now stop at the Southern Regional Medical Center at 11 Upper Riverdale Road. The coaches will pick up at that location in the afternoon. This stop is for reverse commute only.

NOTE: Although drivers make every effort to operate the service as scheduled, actual arrival times may vary depending on road, traffic and other conditions.

Only GRTA Xpress fare passes are valid for this route. Fare passes are not refundable.

One-way -- $3 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)

Roundtrip -- $5 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)

20-Ride -- $45 -- (20 single trip rides) available online.CLICK HERE

Half-Price and Reverse Commute Fares

One-way -- $1.50 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)

Roundtrip -- $2.50 -- (pay exact cash only at the farebox)

31-Day -- $40 -- (31 days unlimited use)

Half-price fares are available on reverse commutes. In addition, all persons 65 years of age and older, Medicare cardholders and persons with disabilities are eligible for half-price fares on those routes operating during off-peak hours (between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m.). Riders must show the coach operator their Medicare card to qualify. This route currently does not operate during off-peak hours.

Breeze Card
