Downloading myXpress 2.0 App on Your Phone

App Help Tour

When you navigate to the Home Page for the first time, the app/website displays the first in a series of pop-ups with basic information about using its features. 

You can tap the Next Button to get more information as you scroll through a series of instructions for the website/App. 

Help Guide feature, Ending Help Guide popup, when you use myxpress 2.0 a popup displays the help guide, click the next button and back buttons to use help guide. to permenently hide the popup.

If you do not want to see the pop-ups and permanently hide the popups:

  1. Tap End, and check the checkbox labeled Don’t Show Again displays.
  2. Tap End again.

Ending Help Guide popup, when you use myxpress 2.0 a popup displays the help guide, click the check box on the popup to permenently hide the popup.

Home Page

The myXpress 2.0 Home Page contains Menu Button Links with several different types of information. A brief overview is shown below.

Select the Departure Time button to find your stop departure times based on your selection. Select the Where is my bus? to find your bus location in real time. Select the Trip Planner button to plan your trip to your destination. Select the Text Updates button to learn about receiving text alerts. Select the Signup to create your account. Select the text only button to use the text version of the app. Select the user profile button to display the log on, log off screen. Select the email button to let us know if you have any issues with the app.

If you scroll up, you will see link to Frequently Asked Question and email link to provide your feedback.

Departure Times

Tapping the Departure Times button on the home page allow you to select a route and stop for which to display information. The window displays a set of fields in which the you can select a route, stop and direction. You also have the option of selecting a stop by entering the stop number, if known.

  Departure Times features. Select Find stops near me to finde stop near you. Enter your stop number if known, or select select route to select your route, direction and stop.

Where’s My Bus?

The Where’s My Bus? displays a detailed, real-time display of the service area and provides departure data for Xpress service.

 Where’s My Bus? navigational functions. Select Routes trip icon to display specific routes. Select Plan your icon to plan your trip. Select Find a stop icon to locate a specific stop.

Trip Planner

You can plan and route your trip from end to end using the Trip Planner. By entering addresses for the start and end of a trip, you can access a map showing their route, reference the vehicles/trains you will need to take, and calculate approximately how long the trip will be, both in mileage and time.

Sign Up

You can sign up to get personalized alerts for your route and stop. You can also add your stop as favorites.

Create Account image. Enter your email address, First Name, Last Name, which are all require. At your option you may enter your phone number which is used to receive text alerts to your phone.

Check Departure Times

1. Tap Departure Times Button.

2. Enter Stop Number if you know the Stop ID.

3. Choose your Route and Direction

4. Choose your Stop

5. You will see departure times for the next coaches expected to arrive at the selected stop.

Accessing myXpress 2.0 from a web browser

Yes. You can access the myXpress 2.0 Website by entering myxpress2.xpressga.com in your internet browser.

myXpress 2.0 App vs the Website

The myXpress 2.0 App is a native Apps that can be downloaded and installed on your compatible mobile device from App store or Google Pay. The myXpress 2.0 Website (myxpress2.xpressga.com) is a web portal that runs directly in the browser on your computer or smart phone or any other mobile device. Both the native Apps and the Website allow you to access same information.

Scheduled/Estimated Departure Times Explained

The app shows scheduled or estimated Departure/arrival times based on the location of the coach.

The scheduled time is the time the bus will arrive/depart based on the published trip schedule.

The estimated time is based on the real-time movement of the coaches arriving within 30 minutes. The Estimated Time will generally be the more accurate. Detours, traffic incidents, construction, weather, or equipment issues may cause delays that may impact the accuracy of the estimated stop departure times.

View Schedule, Estimated and Canceled Times in App

The departure times marked with SCHEDULED tell you about the stop’s scheduled times. 

The departure times marked with Coach No. instead of SCHEDULED tell you about the stop’s real-time departure/arrival.

The departure times marked with CANCELED tell you that the trip has been cancelled. 

View Schedule, Estimated and Canceled Times image. Selecting the view all routes button in top right displays all routes passing through the stop. The Coach Number appears once Coach is within 30 minutes of arrival. Estimated real-time, is shown. Canceled Schedule time is shown if applicable. Time to published schedule time is shown.

Viewing Bus Arrivals

1. Choose Where’s my Bus Button.

2. Tap the Stop Select Stop icon. icon at top left.

3. Select your route, direction and Stop.

4. You will see all the routes passing through that stop and their departure times.

Manage Account,
Favorite and Alerts

Your myXpress 2.0 Account

Having a myXpress 2.0 account will make it easier to use your app. Creating account is optional.

Users with accounts can select one or more routes or stops for the application to monitor and set alerts to receive email and/or text notification for those routes and stops. Alerts can be set for your desired routes, stops and service bulletins to alert you about any service disruption in the system.

Creating Your myXpress 2.0 Account

Creating an account is optional; with an account you may receive selected alerts.

1. Tap Sign Up.

2. Fill in the detail, provide mobile phone # for SMS alerts. Fields marked with an asterix are mandatory.

3. Agree to terms of condition and tap Create New Account.

4. A pop-up screen will appear with instruction to verify the user.

5. Follow the email instruction to activate your account. You will also receive a text from 414-11 to confirm your text message alerts.

Logging in to Your Account

1. Tap Log in Button on top right.

2. Enter your registered email address and password

3. Check Remember me if you want the system to save the credentials.

4. Tap Log in Button.

5. When you log in, additional options display in Home Page namely Favorites, My Account and Alerts.

How to Sign out of your account?

1. Tap the user icon User Icon Image .

2. Tap Log Out.

How to add favorite stops

To enable this feature, users should create account and log in.

1. Tap Favorites from Home Screen.

2. Under Add a Favorite, select a route.

3. Select the direction you will be traveling.

4. Select the stop.

5. Click the Add Favorite button.

How to create alerts for your route and/or stop?

To enable this feature, users should create account and log in.

1. Tap Alerts from your Home Screen.

2. Check if Sending Alerts is enable or not. Toggle switch to enable/disable the alerts.

3. Check appropriate option for Service Bulletin. Service Bulletin may include general or system-wide service bulletins currently in effect.

4. Tap Add Stop which offers the option of selecting a stop by number or selecting from a series of pick lists to find your stop.

5. Select your preference for delivery method for system to send you the alerts. You can select:

  • Exact time to receive alerts
  • Select how system will send alerts

If you want alerts to be send multiple times, enable Repeat which will give option to select the repeat frequencies followed by option to enter time by which the alerts should stop.
Lastly, select the days of the week during which you want to receive alerts.

When all data has been entered, tap the Save button. Your alerts have been saved and system will send alerts through your preferred delivery method based on the timing you have set.

Service Bulletins

myXpress 2.0 displays Service Bulletins to alert you to conditions impacting service.

Route/Stop Bulletins

Route-Specific or Stop-Specific service bulletins are displayed in the Departure Times and Where’s My Bus? window when the route or stop to which they apply is one of your route/direction/stop selections.  For example, a service bulletin created just for Route 416 will be displayed in this field only if you select a stop on Route 416 for which to view departure times.

Detour Bulletins

The app and website also display detours when conditions require a coach to travel on streets that are not on its regularly scheduled route. The detour service bulletins are Route/Stop – Specific service bulletins and are not displayed unless the route or stop selected has a detour pertaining to it.

If you selected a route with service bulletin through View Routes View Routes Icon , you would see a blinking Exclamation point Service Alert Icon icon displayed in Where’s My Bus? Window next to home Home Icon icon.

For example, Xpress has set a detour on Route 416 – Dacula – Downtown due to ongoing construction.

System-wide Bulletins

System-Wide service bulletins are displayed regardless of your selections and will appear in the field with any route-specific or stop-specific ones.

Tracking a Coach

Viewing Published Route Schedules

1. Tap Where’s my Bus? Button.

2. Tap the Find a Stop Find Stop Icon icon at top left.

3. Select your route, direction and Stop.

4. You will see all the routes passing through that stop and their departure times.

5. Tap Schedule

Find Stop Number

The fastest way for a user to navigate in app is to know the stop number beforehand and enter it to display the stop’s information. There are two ways to find a stop number on this app:

1. Using the series of pick lists on the Departure Times page to select a stop and display the estimated departure times.

2. Tapping the dot representing any bus stop on the map opens a pop-up containing stop information.

Find Your Nearest Stop

1. Tap Departure Times button.

2. Tap Find Stops Near Me button.

3. Accept the permission to allow the app to use your current location.

4. Any stops or park & ride location within 2 miles radius will be displayed.

5. If no stops are displayed, use Trip Planner to plan your trip.

Using Where’s My Bus? for Stop Information

There are three ways to select stops for which to get information using Where’s My Bus? button.

1. Using View Routes View Routes Icon icon.

  1. Tap View Routes icon on Top left.
  2. Select route(s) from a pick list. Up to ten routes can be displayed. The routes display on the map.
  3. Tap on any on one of the dots on the map representing a bus stop.

2. Using Find a Stop Find a Stop Icon icon.

  1. Tap the Find a StopFind a Stop Icon icon at top left.
  2. Select your route, direction and Stop.
  3. Tap OK.

The stop displays with bus departure information on the map.

3. Using Stop Number

The fastest way for a user to navigate in the app is to know the stop number beforehand and enter it to display the stop’s information.

  1. Tap the Find a Stop Find a Stop Icon  icon at top left.
  2. Provide Stop number in Enter Stop number.
  3. Tap OK.

Plan Your Trip

You can plan and route your trip from end to end using the Trip Planner. By entering addresses for the start and end of a trip, you can access a map showing their route, reference the vehicles/trains you will need to take, and calculate approximately how long the trip will be, both in mileage and time.

1. Tap Trip Planner button.

2. Enter the starting address (or Point A) in the top field and the ending address (or Point B) in the bottom field.

3. Enter a preferred time and select whether to Depart or Arrive. Select to calculate the Best Route, a route with Fewer Transfers, or a route with Less Walking.

4. Tap OK.

5. A Trip Option screen will be displayed what shows all trip options that includes a map with the selected route, streets taken, transit routes to use with your departure times and transfer points, if any.

Track Your Coach on the street map

You can see and track your Xpress coach using Where’s My Bus? feature that opens an interactive Google based street map. Our Xpress coaches are equipped with GPS antenna which continually updates the coach’ positions on the street map. The coaches are represented by coach icon that move in real time as the coaches move in the streets. A coach will only show on the map for the selected route once it has reached the first stop of that route.

1. Tap Where’s My Bus? Button

2. Tap View Routes View Routes Icon icon on Top left.

3. Select route(s) from a pick list. Up to ten routes can be displayed. The routes display on the map

4. Once you see the coach icon, Tap on for a list of next stops for your coach.

5. Tap Route Progress to see a line map of your route and where the coach is a long the route. You can also set an alert up to 10 minutes before the coach is scheduled/estimated to depart.
